You don’t need your own blog or website to comment. My friend Philip in fact started out as a Comment Author before he become a blogger.
This set him in good stead, because during the process of going around commenting on other people’s blogs and social updates, he drew attention to himself (for the right reasons) by offering quality, valuable and friendly comments.
So when he did set up his blog, he instantly had a large following who already knew him and were willing to read and comment on his posts.
The only drawback of not having a website is that you are unable to offer a suitable URL during the submission process. Most people waste this opportunity anyway, by automatically putting in their blog’s or website’s homepage.
But if you submitted a link to a relevant or valuable blog post or a similar webpage, this would not only be more valuable to whoever clicked on your name to find it, it would give you more brownie points with the search engines or other algorithms.
There are basically 2 different types of content you will find on a website. Posts and pages.
Your pages are those which are purely informative. For example they maybe introducing you or your website or have your Affiliate disclosure or privacy policy. They may even be a sales funnel.
Your posts or blogs can be informational based or a more direct sales format. But they will have some CTA or call to action that you want your reader to take. Even if it is to only click on an internal link to get your reader to move closer to that purchasing decision.
Your posts or blogs are done on your website and then hopefully you will get a lot of readers because you have done the Search Engine Optimization that Google wants.
You should start by reading about Wordpress and then Search Engine Optimization. After that you should have a lot of questions that will help you learn more.
It is great to see someone of your age eagerly seeking out answers about a topic that you like. Keep up the great work. You have a great future ahead of you.
